Plan ahead. A trial tan is required if you…
…Have never had a professional airbrush tan by a person before.
…Have questions.
…Want Dee’s input on the shade of tan.
and/or
…Are nervous and/or apprehensive about getting a spray tan done.
Spray tanning results are dependent on each person’s individual skin type and a development process of 24-48 hours. It is not makeup. We cannot predict the future. Each person’s skin is unique to them, which means how you tan with a spray tan is unique to you as well. A trial allows Dee to get familiar with your skin and give recommendations. It is in your best interests to do a trial, therefore it is required.
Dee cannot guide you to the exact shade of tan if she has not tanned you before to gather information about your skin. If you have had a spray tan by a person before (not Dee) and choose not to do a trial with Dee, you will have to decide the shade you want without Dee’s input. The shade chosen will be solely your decision.
A trial tan helps in understanding the “dos” and “don’ts” about the preparation of the skin prior to the tan, how a spray tan works with the skin to get a tan, and the after care for the tan for best results. It also provides more time to get any questions answered.
Trial tans need to be done at least 7 days prior to the Event Tan as Dee’s tans do develop well and last. There is no discount for trial tans, but you will receive return client pricing after the first initial New Client Appointment!
Examples of events that require a trial: participating in a Wedding, Galas, Award Ceremonies, Prom, Pageants, and any formal/important event.
Examples of occasions that do not require a trial: attending a Wedding as a Guest, Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, Engagement parties/photos, Family photos, Vacations, Concerts, Every day life and any casual gathering.
Bachelor/Bachelorette parties & Engagement parties/photos are the perfect time to do a trial tan for the wedding!
Dee reserves the right to and will cancel if this policy is not followed, this includes wedding tans.
