Yes. Plan ahead. A trial tan is required if you…
…Have never had a professional airbrush tan by a person before. (Booths & self tanners DO NOT count.)
…Have questions.
and/or
…Are nervous and/or apprehensive about getting a spray tan done.
Spray tanning results are dependent on each person’s individual skin type and a development process of 24-48 hours. It is not makeup. We cannot predict the future. Each person’s skin is unique to them, which means how you tan with a spray tan is unique to you as well. A trial allows Dee to get familiar with your skin and give recommendations. It is in your best interests to do a trial, therefore it is required.
A trial tan helps in understanding the “dos” and “don’ts” about the preparation of the skin prior to the tan, how a spray tan works with the skin to get a tan, and the after care for the tan for best results. It also provides more time to get any questions answered.
Trial tans need to be done at least 7 days prior to the Event Tan as Dee’s tans do develop well and last. There is no discount for trial tans, but you will receive return client pricing after the first initial New Client Appointment!
Examples of events that require a trial: participating in a Wedding, Galas, Award Ceremonies, Prom, Pageants, and any formal/important event.
Examples of occasions that do not require a trial: attending a Wedding as a Guest, Media Appearances, Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, Engagement parties/photos, Bridal/Groom Showers, Senior photos, Family photos, Boudoir, Vacations, Concerts, Every day life and any casual gathering.
Bachelor/Bachelorette parties & Engagement parties/photos are the perfect time to do a trial tan for the wedding!
If this policy is not followed, this includes weddings: Dee will not tan you and she will charge for her time & going against policy.
